I just came home from a full day at work (yup I work too!) and I am so desperate to get Regalo started and to give something special to all my fellow hard working ladies! But things are not moving fast enough!
POST NOTE: Starting up a business is NOT 1 2 3 ;)
So there are so many things I want to say on facebook but I can't just keep posting every 5 minutes and not all my thoughts voice so well into a small status update so tonights project was start a blog. Its the latest "shtick", its what everyone does so why not. I have a lot to say for myself (or so people like to tell me.) and I have even more to say about Regalo. Somethings are too hard to voice in one word.
I'll use this post to say a bit of why and how Regalo started. I am the oldest of my family and so when my sister got married it was a big deal for me. I wanted to give her the most perfect amazing gift, for HER. I knew she would get everything she needs from all her family and friends but what could I give her? And suddenly the spark went off. A mikvah kit. A beautiful cosmetic bag with everything she needs for the night of. I put black pads, eyeliner and lip gloss, nail polish remover, deodorant, perfume and q-tips. Literally everything she needed for the last "touch-up" before she dipped to the last touch-ups for going home. All in a small bag that she could just grab and run with.
I used to hate that each time I had to go I had to separate all my cosmetics, pre-preparation stuff, bags and all to get together what I needed.
She loved it.
So I thought why limit it to just her? So many people I told about this gift got so excited, thought it was so wonderful and that is when Regalo was born.
Right now I have to go prepare for Shabbos (working again tomorrow) so Ill sign off with this picture of the original Regalo mikvah kit.
Don't forget to check out more pictures on Facebook and come back soon for some more posts.
All the best,
Chumi x
